Mrs. J. W. SHIRLEY (hand written as SHIVELY), widow of JW Shirely (sic) of Guion, died at her home in Guion, Monday afternoon at 3:30. She was 88 and leaves no relatives except nieces and nephews. She was a long life resident of the Guion community and was well known in Waveland. The funeral was Wed. afternoon at the home and she was buried at Bethany Cemetery. -- kbz
